Aluminum alloy doors and windows are a type of door and window with aluminum alloy extruded profiles as the main frame structure. They include composite forms such as aluminum-wood composite and aluminum-plastic composite, and comply with the national standard GB/T 8478-2020 "Aluminum Alloy Doors and Windows". Their quality is judged by the selection of aluminum profiles (main load-bearing member wall thickness ≥1.4mm for windows, ≥2.0mm for doors), surface oxide film thickness (≥10μm), and processing precision.

Based on opening method, they are divided into casement, sliding, folding, and top-hung types: casement windows have better sealing and sound insulation but take up more space, while sliding windows have a larger light-transmitting surface but weaker ventilation. The connection between the frame and the wall needs to be checked regularly, and loose screws should be tightened promptly to prevent structural deformation.

With the advancement of building energy conservation policies, the use of energy-saving and environmentally friendly aluminum alloy doors and windows is increasing, and the industry is gradually transforming towards systematic design and installation. Aluminum-plastic composite doors and windows, as a branch type, involve processes such as thermally broken aluminum, and maintain a market share of over 55% in the building door and window market.
